Assistant Professor of Economics at PGDAV College, University of Delhi (on leave), and former Assistant Professor at IIFT Kolkata. Her research focuses on International Economics, Econometrics, FDI, and Macroeconomics. She has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals and contributed to book chapters on FDI and productivity spillovers.
Sanghita Mondal is currently an Assistant Professor of Economics at PGDAV College, University of Delhi (on leave) and was previously an Assistant Professor at the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, Kolkata. Her areas of research interest include International Economics, Econometrics, Foreign Direct Investment (FDI), and Macroeconomics. She has taught undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Macroeconomics, International Economics, Applied Econometrics, and related subjects, and has served as Associate Editor of Foreign Trade Review published by IIFT and Sage.
She has contributed as a consultant to projects at the Reserve Bank of India and the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade. Her doctoral research at Jawaharlal Nehru University focused on “Foreign Direct Investment, Exports and Productivity Spillover: Evidence from Indian Manufacturing Sector,” analyzing the impact of inward FDI on Indian firms’ exports and productivity using dynamic panel econometric models.
Sanghita has authored several peer-reviewed journal articles and book chapters on FDI, productivity spillovers, and firm competitiveness, and continues to work on research projects examining productivity dispersion and the role of services in shaping industrial output in India. She is proficient in Stata and MS Excel for data analysis and econometric modeling.
